Turkmenistan will be represented by its student team “OguzRobot” at the prestigious First Global Challenge 2025 in Panama, often called the “Olympics of Robotics”, running from October 29 to November 1 and bringing together youth from 190 countries.
The team consists of students from Ashgabat’s Specialized School No. 97 with advanced language studies: Ismail Charyev, Emirhan Gylychmukhammedov, Aznavur Cholukov, Shirmuhammet Gulov, and Gurbangeldi Orazgeldiev, led by experienced teacher Myrat Sakhetguliyev, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
Over the past months, the team has been intensively preparing at the “Kamil Bilim” training center, designing their robot, developing software, and conducting thorough testing.
“The students are well-prepared, and we hope for strong results. This competition is a fantastic opportunity for our youth to gain international experience and improve their creative and engineering skills,” said Sakhetguliyev.
This year’s First Global Challenge focuses on ecosystem balance, encouraging young innovators to develop solutions for environmental protection, combining technology, creativity, and global collaboration.
