More than 11,000 vehicles have been jointly manufactured by Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan at the Hajigabul Industrial Park, marking a major milestone in bilateral industrial cooperation and the expansion of local automotive production.
The park’s resident company Azermash LLC has produced over 10,700 Chevrolet vehicles in partnership with Uzbekistan’s UzAutoSanoat JSC. The lineup includes the Labo, Damas, Malibu, Lacetti, Tracker, Cobalt, Nexia, Spark, Traverse, Tahoe, Equinox, Onix, and Captiva models, The Caspian Post reports via Azerbaijan’s Economic Zones Development Agency.
In addition, more than 300 ISUZU vehicles-including pickup trucks, commercial trucks, and buses-have been assembled in cooperation with Uzbekistan’s SamAuto.
