Baku TV, Uzbekistan 24 Sign Cooperation Memorandum to Boost Media Collaboration

A memorandum of cooperation has been officially signed in Tashkent between Azerbaijani broadcaster Baku TV and Uzbek TV channel Uzbekistan 24.

The agreement was signed by Ramin Jafarov, Director of Baku TV, and Mamadamin Safarov, Head of Uzbekistan 24, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

The ceremony was also attended by Orkhan Mammadov, Board Member of Global Media Group, and Huseyn Guliyev, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan.

Ambassador Guliyev highlighted the significance of the memorandum in strengthening the friendly and fraternal ties between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the media sphere. He stated, “This agreement marks the beginning of a new era in media cooperation between our countries. It focuses on enhancing collaboration in television and information sharing, fostering the exchange of professional expertise, launching joint projects, and intensifying mutual informational support.”

Orkhan Mamedov echoed these sentiments, noting that the memorandum will serve as a catalyst for deeper media and cultural cooperation. “The partnership between prominent channels like Baku TV and Uzbekistan 24 will elevate the quality of news coverage and speed up information exchange. We believe this collaboration will significantly enrich the media landscapes of both nations.”
