Bird Strike Forces Ural Airlines Plane to Turn Back Mid-Flight

On September 12, a Ural Airlines aircraft flying from Irkutsk to Tashkent had to return to its departure airport after a bird strike affected one of its engines.

The East Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office reported that the incident occurred at 04:40 (GMT+5), The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The Airbus A-319, carrying 91 passengers and six crew members, landed safely under the pilot’s control. No injuries were reported, and the aircraft remained undamaged and fully airworthy.

An investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances of the bird strike and verify adherence to aviation safety regulations.
