Central Asia Forum Delegates Explore Uzbekistan’s Center of Islamic Civilization

Delegates attending the international congress “Spiritual Heritage and Enlightenment in Central Asia” have had the opportunity to tour the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, exploring the region’s rich historical and cultural heritage.

The participants visited the Center’s extensive museum exhibitions, which span centuries of Central Asian history and highlight its cultural diversity, The Caspian Post informs per local media.

The tour featured unique artifacts from the Timurids, Karakhanids, and other influential dynasties that shaped the region’s statehood, science, and artistic achievements. Delegates were able to engage with exhibits reflecting traditions, lifestyles, and historical milestones of Central Asian peoples and rulers.

This visit was particularly significant as it marked the first public tour at the Center, symbolizing its official opening to the broader public and reinforcing its mission to promote cultural awareness and historical knowledge across the region.
