Czech PM to Visit Uzbekistan for High-Level Talks and Business Deals

Prime Minister of Czech Republic Andrej Babiš will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on April 29-30, signaling a new push to strengthen bilateral ties.

Top-level talks will take place in Tashkent, focusing on expanding multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Key topics on the agenda include boosting trade and deepening collaboration in sectors such as engineering, green energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and transport.

The sides are also set to explore closer cooperation in cultural, humanitarian, and educational fields, alongside discussions on international issues and mutual support on global platforms.

The visit is expected to culminate in the signing of a package of bilateral agreements, marking a significant step forward in Uzbekistan-Czech Republic relations.

As part of the program, Babiš will also take part in a joint Uzbek-Czech business forum, aimed at unlocking new investment opportunities and partnerships.
