Huawei Accelerate Conferences Spotlight Uzbekistan as Hub for Digital Transformation

Uzbekistan’s Tashkent and Andijan cities have hosted the Huawei Accelerate conferences, organized by Huawei with Abris Distribution as part of its Middle East and Central Asia roadshow, showcasing digital solutions for education, hospitality, construction, real estate, and retail to drive transformation in key social and economic sectors.

Tony Yan, Deputy Director of Huawei Uzbekistan, emphasized that cutting-edge technologies-high-speed data networks, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence-are becoming the backbone of new business and societal opportunities, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

He highlighted Huawei’s goal of creating a unified ecosystem of partners to drive sustainable innovation and sectoral development.

Abris Distribution, Huawei’s strategic partner with over 30 years of experience in Uzbekistan and operations across 12 countries, showcased successful joint projects in education, healthcare, tourism, construction, and telecommunications. Business Development Manager Damir Khudaybergenov said these initiatives provide a strong foundation for Uzbekistan’s digital future.

Key solutions presented included Wi-Fi 7 for hotels and commercial properties, offering high-quality service and comprehensive coverage, as well as intelligent monitoring and management platforms to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.

In the education sector, the conferences demonstrated “smart” campus solutions featuring AI-powered video surveillance, intelligent access control, energy-efficient lighting, high-speed Wi-Fi 6/7 networks, VR/AR labs, and IdeaHub interactive boards.

The conferences attracted more than 170 representatives from companies and organizations, who explored the latest technological trends, successful implementations of intelligent solutions, and new opportunities for modernizing Uzbekistan’s infrastructure.
