Leading Textile Firms Discuss Strengthening Uzbekistan-Türkiye Economic Ties

With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Türkiye and Arikan Group, a roundtable in Kahramanmaraş brought together representatives from leading textile firms-including Kipaş Holding, Molcem Nano, and Elif Iplik-to discuss expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Türkiye and Uzbekistan.

Participants discussed current business collaborations, promising investment projects, and opportunities to enter new markets, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

It was noted that Molcem Nano has relocated part of its production capacities to the Chirchik Technopark, while Elif Iplik has expressed interest in exporting its products to Uzbekistan and engaging in joint ventures.

Plans with Arikan Group include establishing joint production, developing research and innovation activities in Uzbekistan, and opening marketing offices in Türkiye. Additionally, an agreement was reached with the Tashkent Textile University to organize a biennale dedicated to national clothing design.

Turkish companies are scheduled to visit Uzbekistan for a business mission to participate in the TextileExpo, which will be held September 9-11, 2025. The cooperation encompasses manufacturing, innovation, and cultural exchange, highlighting the growing partnership between the two countries.
