More Uzbeks Choosing US as Travel Destination

Between January and July 2025, 8,000 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to the US, primarily for tourism.

This figure represents an increase of 996 people, or 14.3 per cent, compared to the same period last year, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Tourism accounted for the majority of visits, with 5,683 travelers. Other purposes included visiting relatives (1,978 people), education (179), business trips (104), and medical treatment (23).

It was earlier reported that the US had nearly doubled the application fee for its visa waiver program.
