Russian Entrepreneurs to Forge Ties with Uzbek, Kyrgyz Textile Firms

The Russian Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME Corporation) is set to facilitate a series of high-profile business meetings between Russian entrepreneurs and textile and apparel manufacturers from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

These meetings will take place during the upcoming INTERFABRIC-2025.AUTUMN international exhibition, The Caspian Post reports per Kyrgyz media.

Scheduled for August 26 to 28 at Crocus Expo in Moscow, the event aims to promote international cooperation and expand B2B networks within the textile and light industry sectors. The platform will enable participants to showcase their products and services, exchange market knowledge, and negotiate potential partnerships and contracts.

For Russian small and medium-sized enterprises, this represents a valuable opportunity to connect with new textile suppliers, access apparel manufacturing services, and collaborate with potential brand development partners. More than 20 companies from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have confirmed their participation, highlighting the strong regional interest.

This initiative aligns with the broader goals of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy”, which supports the expansion of SME markets, encourages interregional and international cooperation, and enhances the global competitiveness of Russian manufacturers.
