Uzbekistan’s Uzaeronavigation Center and Air Traffic Management Bureau of Civil Aviation Administration of China (ATMB) have signed a memorandum of cooperation in Beijing, marking the first official agreement between the two countries’ air navigation services.

The memorandum establishes a framework for cooperation in air traffic management and the development of aviation technologies, according to Uzaeronavigation Center.

The two sides plan to work together on communications, navigation and surveillance systems, as well as digitalization and the training of aviation specialists.

The agreement will also facilitate the exchange of expertise and experience between Uzbekistan and China’s air navigation services.
