Uzbekistan’s Ferghana Region is poised for a major foreign investment as First Deputy Governor Mirzohid Ubaydullaev met with South Korea’s Hansae Mobility to advance previous agreements and explore new regional projects.
A key initiative discussed is Hansae Mobility’s plan to produce automotive components in Ferghana, with the regional administration providing full support for its implementation, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Ubaydullaev highlighted that attracting foreign investment and supporting promising projects remain top priorities. Investors were briefed on free economic zones, tax and customs incentives, and infrastructure advantages for setting up production.
The project is expected to create new jobs, introduce modern technologies, and boost regional industrial development. Concrete steps for collaboration and future engagement were also agreed upon during the meeting.
