US, Uzbekistan Explore New Tech Partnerships at High-Level Roundtable in Washington

A closed-door executive roundtable in Washington, D.C. has brought together top US tech companies and Uzbek officials to discuss ways to strengthen technological cooperation between the two countries.

The event, organized by the American-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) and moderated by its Executive Director Elena Son, featured Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov and senior representatives from Meta, DataVolt, SuperMicro, Inertial Labs Inc., Alexandria Transport, and the National Center for Energy Analytics, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Talks centered on strategic investment opportunities in Uzbekistan’s fast-growing digital sector. Participants highlighted the government’s tax incentives and support programs for foreign IT companies through IT Park Uzbekistan, as well as initiatives to create high-skilled jobs and strengthen the country’s human capital.

Shermatov reaffirmed that Uzbekistan is steadily advancing its digital transformation and remains open to deeper cooperation with global technology leaders ready to launch joint projects and innovation-driven investments.
