Tajikistan, US Sign $3.2 Billion Agreements During C5+1 Summit in Washington

Washington has hosted a landmark moment in the US-Tajikistan relations as the two countries signed a series of major cooperation agreements totaling over $3.2 billion, following talks at the C5+1 Summit between Central Asian nations and the United States.

According to the US Department of State, these deals will bring billions in US exports and create thousands of new American jobs, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.

Flag carrier Somon Air signed a deal with Boeing to purchase 14 aircraft and aviation systems worth $3.2 billion. Washington said the agreement “strengthens trust in American aerospace technology” and will modernize Tajikistan’s air fleet.

Tajikistan signed a $32.5 million agreement with Transparent Earth, an American organization specializing in remote sensing technology. The deal aims to improve efficiency in the country’s mining and agricultural sectors through advanced US technology and technical assistance.

Tajikistan also entered into partnership and licensing agreements with Starlink to expand its digital infrastructure and ensure reliable internet access even in the country’s most remote areas.

A groundbreaking AI cooperation agreement was signed between Perplexity AI and zypl.ai to launch the world’s first AI-powered agent browser tailored for government institutions. The initiative is expected to enhance Tajikistan’s innovation capacity, policy development, and regional digital leadership.

US companies SuperMicro, Cerebris, and zypl.ai will jointly develop AI data center infrastructure in Tajikistan. The project is backed by Dushanbe’s commitment to build 1 GW of new hydropower capacity, paving the way for the country to become a regional hub for high-tech and green energy solutions.

In a separate deal, Coca-Cola announced a $9 million investment to expand its Dushanbe plant, increasing production and strengthening the presence of US goods in Tajikistan’s market.

The agreements follow a November 6 meeting between US President Donald Trump and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, during which both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepen cooperation in critical minerals, digital connectivity, and aviation modernization.

The summit also featured a Central Asia-US business conference attended by regional officials and entrepreneurs, where Tajikistan presented its top investment projects.

President Donald Trump hailed the C5+1 Summit as the beginning of “a new era of strong relations between the United States and the nations of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan,” emphasizing Washington’s growing engagement in strategically vital Central Asia.
