President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Minsk for an official visit, where he is set to hold high-level negotiations aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between Uzbekistan and Belarus.
The Uzbek leader was welcomed at Minsk International Airport by Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov, and other senior officials, The Caspian Post reports via UzDaily.
A ceremonial reception was held in his honor, with the national flags of Uzbekistan and Belarus displayed at the airport and a guard of honor welcoming the visiting president.
According to the official schedule, President Mirziyoyev and Belarusian leaders will hold high-level talks in Minsk on July 9, focusing on expanding cooperation across key sectors and advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
