Uzbek President Arrives in Zurich Ahead of Davos Meetings

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Zurich, Switzerland on a working visit, marking the start of a packed international agenda.

At Zurich International Airport, the head of state was welcomed by Dorit Probst-Sallis, Head of the Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry, underscoring the business-focused nature of the visit, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

According to the program, on January 22 in Davos, President Mirziyoyev is expected to take part in the signing ceremony of the Charter of the Peace Council-an initiative launched by US President Donald Trump. The Uzbek leader will also hold a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the event, aimed at strengthening international dialogue and cooperation.
