University students in Uzbekistan will soon have the option to transfer their tuition costs to future employers, ensuring guaranteed employment after graduation while companies receive trained specialists.
The government has approved a decree outlining the collaboration between students and hiring organizations. Under the new policy, students from the second year and above of bachelor’s programs are eligible to participate, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Eligible organizations include ministries, government agencies, and companies with investment projects of at least $1 million or more than 50 employees.
Students can submit applications electronically to their universities by September 20 each year, including a transcript of their academic performance. A selection committee will conduct interviews and finalize candidates by October 15.
Applicants agree to work for the sponsoring organization after graduation, creating a structured pathway from education to employment.
