As part of the Third Belarus-Uzbekistan Women's Business Forum, a sectional meeting has been held focusing on the prospects for bilateral cooperation in education, science, and healthcare.
The event brought together representatives from government bodies, leading universities, scientific and medical centers from both countries, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Discussions centered on the integration of educational programs, expansion of academic exchanges, joint research initiatives, and the adoption of modern medical technologies. Special attention was given to the development of the pharmaceutical sector, maternal and child healthcare, and medical workforce training.
Speakers emphasized the importance of creating a unified knowledge space, sharing best practices, and promoting active participation of women in international scientific projects.
The session concluded with the signing of several agreements between universities and professional organizations from Uzbekistan and Belarus, including:
Scientific and innovative cooperation between the National University of Uzbekistan and Vitebsk State University.
Collaboration between Andijan State University and Grodno State University.
Partnership between Fergana Polytechnic Institute and Gomel State Technical University.
Cooperation between Bukhara Engineering Technological Institute and the Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies .
Agreement between Termez State University of Engineering and Agrotechnologies and Vitebsk State Technological University.
Additionally, a professional cooperation agreement was signed between the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan and the Belarusian Union of Journalists.
These initiatives are expected to deepen educational, scientific, and healthcare collaboration, while strengthening cultural and professional ties between Uzbekistan and Belarus.
