Uzbekistan and China are stepping up efforts to strengthen their strategic partnership, with a new push to expand political, cultural, and interparty cooperation.
In Beijing, Li Shulei, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China's Central Committee, met with Sardor Umurzakov, Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan on Strategic Development, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Li Shulei noted that last year the leaders of both countries elevated bilateral ties to an “all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era,” signaling a new phase in cooperation.
China expressed readiness to work closely with Uzbekistan to implement key agreements, expand interparty exchanges, deepen cultural and humanitarian ties, and promote dialogue between civilizations-aimed at driving high-quality development of relations.
Umurzakov reaffirmed Uzbekistan’s commitment to broadening cooperation with China across all sectors and advancing bilateral ties in line with the vision set by the two nations’ leaders.
