Uzbekistan, China Strengthen Scientific Ties with New Partnership Deal

Uzbekistan and China are stepping up cooperation in science and economic research, signing a new agreement aimed at deepening collaboration and sharing expertise.

The Institute of Macroeconomic and Regional Research under Uzbekistan’s Cabinet of Ministers and the Development Research Center of the State Council formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding focused on long-term cooperation, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

The agreement opens the door to joint scientific research across key sectors of the economy, as well as the organization of seminars, conferences, and training programs. Both sides also plan to exchange specialists, creating new opportunities for knowledge transfer and professional development.

Officials say the partnership is designed to build a stronger foundation for evidence-based policymaking while fostering innovation and economic growth.
