A high-level meeting at Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Economy and Finance has brought together First Deputy Minister Ilkhom Norkulov, Ministerial Advisor Jasur Qarshibaev, and Carolina Probst-Germany’s BMZ representative for Eastern and Central Asia-to review the progress of German-funded development projects (via KfW and GIZ) and discuss the implementation of Uzbekistan’s regional development master plans.
Both sides explored opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
Key discussion points included enhancing energy efficiency, promoting green economy principles, improving financial management systems, and executing pilot projects aligned with the master plans.
Both Uzbek and German representatives reaffirmed their commitment to deepening partnership, encouraging new initiatives, and collaboratively advancing projects focused on sustainable economic growth and development.
