The Heydar Aliyev Culture Center at the Azerbaijan Embassy in Uzbekistan has hosted the Art and Culture Days of Azerbaijan at Fergana State University.
The program included the presentation of Jonimga jo - Ozarbayjonim (My Dear Azerbaijan) by national poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh, attended by a delegation led by Akif Marifli, Director of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center, alongside professors and lecturers, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Guests celebrated Vahabzadeh’s artistic legacy and the strong cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. Students performed Azerbaijani songs, while an exhibition showcased paintings and applied art reflecting the region’s landscapes and national values.
A lecture hall dedicated to Vahabzadeh’s legacy was inaugurated, attended by University Rector Bahodirjon Shermuhammadov and Akif Marifli, followed by cooperation agreements. Additionally, a special corner of Azerbaijani literature was opened in the university library, enriched with a collection of books donated by the Azerbaijan Cultural Center.
