Uzbekistan, Hungary Forge Stronger Industrial and Energy Cooperation

Uzbekistan and Hungary are deepening their partnership in the fields of energy and industrial development, following high-level talks between Khurram Teshabaev, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, and Csaba Marosvári, Deputy State Secretary for Energy Security at Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The discussions took place during a meeting in Tashkent, which also brought together Azim Akhmedkhadjaev, Director of the Uzbekistan's Uzatom Atomic Energy Agency, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps and business communities from both countries, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Key topics on the agenda included the expansion of energy cooperation, particularly in the field of nuclear energy, and the launch of joint industrial projects. The two sides expressed strong interest in forging long-term partnerships, leveraging advanced technologies, and promoting innovation-led growth.

Special focus was placed on technological exchange and strengthening commercial ties, with both delegations underlining the strategic importance of energy security and sustainable industrial development.
