During his visit to Jakarta, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with his Indonesian counterpart Sugiono.
“It is a pleasure to have a candid and comprehensive meeting with H.E. Sugiono, Foreign Minister of Indonesia”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan shared on his Telegram channel, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
“On behalf of Uzbekistan delegation, we express our gratitude to Indonesia MFA for the warmest hospitality,” he noted.
The agenda of the meeting was extensive, covering all the topics of cooperation and setting new goals to achieve. The main target is to bring new impetus, make the ties stronger, and nations closer.
It was emphasized that there is a solid foundation connecting the countries and much more enormous potential to fulfill. Economic diplomacy remains a top priority.
Following the meeting, the parties signed the Visa Exemption Agreement for diplomatic and service passport holders.
