Uzbekistan–Iran Business Forum Strengthens Investment Ties

In Tashkent, a delegation led by Governor of Iran’s Mazandaran Province, Mehdi Younesi Rostami, has participated in the Uzbekistan-Iran Business Forum and a series of business-to-business (B2B) meetings.

The event brought together over 70 leading Iranian companies, more than 100 local entrepreneurs, and representatives from ministries and agencies of both countries, who presented their latest initiatives and proposals across various sectors, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Opening the forum, remarks were delivered by Alisher Shaykhov, Adviser to the Chairman of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry; governor of Mazandaran Province; Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Ali Eskandari; and Abdullah Mohajir, Board Member of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.

Participants discussed strengthening trade and economic cooperation, implementing joint investment projects, and developing technological partnerships.

The forum also hosted B2B meetings between Uzbek and Iranian companies. As a result, agreements were reached on several promising projects, opening new opportunities for joint business and investment ventures.
