Uzbekistan, Italy Discuss New Opportunities in Agriculture

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Agriculture Ibrokhim Abdurakhmanov has held a meeting with Guido De Sanctis, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Uzbekistan, to discuss the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation in agriculture.

During the talks, the sides reviewed ongoing collaboration in the agrarian sector and explored promising projects planned for implementation in the near future, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Particular attention was paid to the introduction of advanced technologies, the development of joint research initiatives, personnel training, and the exchange of expertise.

The discussions also focused on expanding cooperation in livestock farming, seen as a key area for boosting productivity and sustainability. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and advancing joint initiatives and projects in Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector.
