Uzbekistan has launched a new tourist route connecting Navoi, Samarkand, and Bukhara, aimed at diversifying travel destinations and encouraging longer stays.
Implemented by the Tourism Committee in partnership with relevant agencies, the “Zarafshan-Karakum Corridor” highlights the cultural and historical legacy of the Great Silk Road, The Caspian Post informs, citing Uzbek media.
The route features unique historical, architectural, and natural sites, with all destinations fully prepared for visitors. Specialized travel programs ensure comfortable transport and engaging excursions.
Officials say the new corridor will strengthen Uzbekistan’s international tourism profile, boost domestic and inbound travel, and attract tourists eager to explore the nation’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
