The Uzbek Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology has held a high-level meeting with a Pakistani delegation led by Haroon Akhtar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industry and Production, to discuss strengthening bilateral ties and advancing cooperation in the mining and mineral resources sector.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister Feroza Khamidova, senior officials of the ministry, and members of the Pakistani delegation, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Both sides noted the growing momentum in Uzbekistan-Pakistan relations and emphasized the importance of developing joint ventures in the exploration and extraction of precious and non-ferrous metals, as well as other strategically important industrial minerals.
The dialogue served as a platform for identifying practical avenues of cooperation, with a shared commitment to advancing economic partnership and deepening industrial ties between the two countries.
