Abdulla Azizov, Director of Uzbekistan’s Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, has met with a Polish delegation led by Adam Struzik, Marshal of the Masovian Voivodeship, to discuss strengthening bilateral ties in the pharmaceutical sector through expanded cooperation in production, joint investment projects, and collaboration in scientific research and innovation.
As part of the visit, the delegation was introduced to the "Tashkent Pharma Park" project - a major initiative aimed at developing pharmaceutical infrastructure in Uzbekistan, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
The Polish representatives were briefed on the park’s modern facilities, its support mechanisms for entrepreneurs, and the favorable conditions created for foreign investors.
The Polish delegation expressed high regard for Uzbekistan’s efforts to create an investor-friendly environment and praised the country’s dynamic approach to advancing its pharmaceutical industry.
Concluding the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing close cooperation and further strengthening their partnership in pharmaceutical development.
