Uzbekistan’s Auto Imports Reach New Heights Early 2025, China at Forefront

From January to May 2025, Uzbekistan imported a total of 18,300 passenger vehicles worth $325.3 million, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Almost half of the total imports (9,789 units) were electric vehicles, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

The largest number of cars came from China, totaling 15,873 units. South Korea ranked second with 1,882 vehicles, followed by India (168 units), Japan (122 units), and the United States (82 units). An additional 260 vehicles were imported from other countries.
