Uzbekistan’s Digital Delegation Visits Silicon Valley’s Innovation Powerhouse Plug and Play

As part of an official working visit to the US, a delegation from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Digital Technologies has visited the headquarters of Plug and Play, one of the largest international accelerator hubs in the country.

During the visit, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Olimjon Umarov held productive discussions with Plug and Play board member Amir Amidi, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

The talks focused on promoting Uzbekistan’s burgeoning startup ecosystem, advancing innovative projects, and implementing digital solutions specifically in the tourism sector. Both sides expressed a strong commitment to deepening collaboration in these strategic fields.

In a significant step forward, the two parties signed a formal cooperation agreement designed to facilitate joint projects and enable the exchange of expertise in innovation and digital transformation.
