Head of the Uzbek Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the project team and international partners following Uzbekistan Pavilion’s prestigious Gold Medal win at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka.
The pavilion was awarded top honors in the category of "Theme Development", The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
“I am thrilled to share some wonderful news: the Uzbekistan Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka has been awarded the Gold Medal in its category,” said Mirziyoyeva. “Our concept, ‘Garden of Knowledge: A Laboratory for a Future Society’, was designed to capture the balance between tradition and innovation-and it has clearly resonated with the global audience.”
Mirziyoyeva extended her appreciation to the entire creative and organizational team, as well as international collaborators, for their vision, dedication, and belief in the project. She emphasized that this recognition highlights Uzbekistan’s growing presence on the global cultural and innovation stage.
The World Expo 2025, held in Osaka, Japan, began on April 13, 2025, and features participation from 158 countries. Organizers project a total attendance of over 28 million visitors, with daily footfall recently surpassing 200,000 as the six-month global showcase approaches its final days.
The Uzbekistan Pavilion stood out for its imaginative exploration of cultural heritage fused with forward-thinking innovation, offering an immersive experience that aligns with the Expo’s broader theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”
