Uzbekistan has harvested a total of 61,500 tons of pomegranates in 2024.
The bulk of the harvest, amounting to 42,800 tons, was produced by farms and household plots, underscoring the significant contribution of small-scale and family farming to the country’s agricultural output, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Farmer enterprises contributed 14,900 tons, while agricultural organizations accounted for 3,800 tons of the total yield.
