According to the country's Statistics Agency, as of July 1, 2024, the population of Uzbekistan increased by 2.1% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching a total of 37,134,200 people, The Caspian Post reports citing local media.

As of July 1, 2024, Uzbekistan's population consists of 18,437,500 women and 18,696,700 men.

Of the total population, 18,940,400 people live in urban areas, while 17,193,800 reside in rural areas.
