Uzbekistan Sees Strong Growth in Dried Plum Exports

In the first 11 months of 2025, Uzbekistan exported 38,900 tons of dried plums, earning a total of $55.3 million.

Compared to the same period in 2024, shipments rose by 15,000 tons, marking a 62.9 per cent increase, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The main importers of Uzbek dried plums were China (21,600 tons), Kazakhstan (6,200 tons), Russia (6,000 tons), Türkiye (1,200 tons), Belarus (793.1 tons), and Georgia (711.5 tons). Other countries received 2,400 tons.

These figures highlight Uzbekistan’s growing export potential and the expansion of its market reach, with dried plums now shipped to 43 countries worldwide.
