Uzbekistan significantly increased its rail exports to China in the first quarter of 2026, sending 76 block trains through the Altynkol station in Kazakhstan.
The bulk of shipments along the Tashkent regional railway route to Altynkol was handled by major logistics centers, including Sergeli, Tashkent, Chukursay, Nazarbek, and Dzhaltyr, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
During the period, a total of 4,992 containers were loaded with export goods such as mineral fertilizers, potassium, aluminum, mung beans, and polyethylene.
Container transportation along this route is managed by Uztemiryulcontainer, which operates specialized fitting platforms to ensure efficient delivery.
