Uzbekistan Showcases Tourism Opportunities at Int’l Exhibition in Spain

An Uzbekistan delegation is participating in the international tourism exhibition FITUR in Madrid, Spain, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

Uzbekistan has been participating in the exhibition since 2005. In 2015, Uzbekistan’s stand won the “Best Stand” nomination.

The national stand of Uzbekistan presents new destinations and tour packages, materials promoting the rich cultural heritage and tourism potential of Uzbekistan, and popularizing Uzbek national music, folklore, and dances.

The Uzbekistan delegation holds B2B and B2G meetings aimed at developing partnerships with international tour operators and negotiations with heads of foreign delegations and representatives of the global tourism industry.

The exhibition, which will last until January 26, has become a new platform for promoting the tourism potential of Uzbekistan abroad.
