Uzbekistan U-18 Triumphs 2-1 Over Armenia in Friendly Clash

Uzbekistan’s U-18 national football team has claimed a 2-1 victory over Armenia in a friendly match.

Kuvanchbek Abraev gave the Uzbek side an early lead in the 8th minute, but the Armenian team leveled the score in the 27th minute, keeping the contest tightly poised, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The turning point came in the 58th minute when Davron Tulaganov stepped up to take a penalty, only for the Armenian goalkeeper to make a crucial save. Ulugbek Maratov reacted fastest to the rebound and confidently netted the ball, restoring Uzbekistan’s advantage.

Maratov’s goal proved decisive, securing a hard-fought win for the Uzbek U-18 team.
