Uzbekistan has taken another significant step in boosting its global tourism profile at IFTM Top Resa, one of Europe’s leading travel and tourism exhibitions, held in Paris.
The Uzbek delegation, led by Umid Shadiev, Chairman of the Tourism Committee, held a series of high-level bilateral meetings with top representatives of French and European travel companies, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
During the discussions, both sides emphasized expanding cooperation in the tourism sector. Key topics included promoting Uzbekistan as a vibrant and culturally rich travel destination, increasing the number of international visitors, developing modern tourism infrastructure, and improving access to information about the country’s historical landmarks and cultural heritage.
As a result of the productive negotiations, the Uzbek delegation reached several agreements to launch joint initiatives, including large-scale international marketing campaigns and collaborative tourism events. These projects aim to boost Uzbekistan’s visibility in the European market and position the country as a must-visit destination for global travelers.
