Wildberries to Invest $300M in Massive Logistics Hub in Uzbekistan

Robert Mirzoyan, CEO of RWB, the merged company of Wildberries & Russ, plans to invest more than $300 million in developing a large-scale Central Asian logistics hub in Uzbekistan.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, Mirzoyan said the project aims to build a regional export center based on Wildberries’ existing logistics infrastructure, while also launching new export-oriented initiatives, The Caspian Post reports via UzDaily.

The planned Central Asian logistics hub will combine a Wildberries sorting center with a new warehouse complex under construction in Tashkent region, covering around 170,000 square meters. It will also integrate infrastructure across other countries where the company operates.

The hub is expected to become a key logistics platform for consolidating cargo flows across Central Asia and a base for promoting local products to international markets.

According to the project design, the new system will link trade routes between Russia, Uzbekistan, and the Middle East, while also supporting transit flows toward African markets via a China-Uzbekistan-Africa corridor.

Mirzoyan said the expansion of the company’s international footprint will help boost exports of Uzbek goods and strengthen regional trade connectivity. Investments will focus on logistics infrastructure development and new services for consumers and small businesses.

RWB was formed after the merger of Wildberries and outdoor advertising operator Russ. The company now operates across multiple regions, including Central Asia, Russia, the Caucasus, Africa, and the Middle East.
