Armenia has appointed its first-ever ambassador to Pakistan, marking a significant step in expanding diplomatic engagement with South Asia.
Karen Grigoryan has been named Armenia's Ambassador to Pakistan on a non-resident basis, The Caspian Post reports via news armenia.
Grigoryan currently serves as Armenia's ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, a post he has held since 2022, and has also been accredited to Saudi Arabia since 2024.
An experienced diplomat, he previously served as Armenia's ambassador to Iraq from 2014 to 2018 and to Egypt from 2018 to 2022. He is fluent in Arabic, English, and Russian.
