Gevorg Mantashian, Armenia’s Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry, highlighted the country’s commitment during a visit to the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Caspian Post reports, citing foreign media.

“Our government places great importance on this cooperation through the efforts of our ambassadors and relevant authorities to create a supportive environment for joint investment and business,” Mantashian said.

He described the visit as a reflection of the shared commitment to bring the people of both nations closer and establish effective channels for business communication. Mantashian added that the Armenian government is ready to provide the necessary facilitation to turn cooperation opportunities into real projects. The economic delegation accompanying him is also focused on supporting the private sector in both countries to build partnerships that drive mutual economic growth.

Armenia’s Ambassador to Kuwait Arsen Arakelyan emphasized the long-standing friendship between the two countries and the desire to strengthen sustainable cooperation. “Direct flights between Kuwait and Yerevan were launched last year, and we are working to increase their frequency and diversify airlines to boost economic and tourism links,” he said.

The meeting included representatives from Kuwait’s government agencies, such as the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority, the Public-Private Partnership Authority, and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, who reviewed investment opportunities and the country’s economic environment. The Armenian delegation included 15 members representing sectors such as investment, oil and energy, tourism and resorts, IT and software development, logistics, project management, strategic consulting and the food industry.
