Armenian PM to Visit Russia for Talks with Putin

President of the Armenian National Assembly Alen Simonyan has said that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is scheduled to visit Russia in the coming days for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Simonyan also stressed that Armenia has no plans to withdraw the Russian military base from its territory, The Caspian Post reports via Armenian media.

“At present, this issue is not being discussed, and no such conversations have taken place,” he said in response to a journalist’s question regarding the potential withdrawal of the Russian military base from Armenia.
