Armenian businesses should be aware that the railway export route through Azerbaijan is now open, according to a statement made by Armenia's Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, in parliament.
"We have assurances on this at the highest level," said Pashinyan, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.
According to Pashinyan, Armenia will soon submit its observations on the draft agreement for the "Trump Route" to the United States. He added that "currently, a technical and economic study of the project is underway."
The Prime Minister also stated that Armenia is still deciding which nuclear power plant to build, although just recently in Yerevan, he signed an agreement with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance on American modular reactors totaling $9 billion (including fuel and reactor maintenance).
"Discussions with international partners are ongoing. Of course, we will make a decision in favor of the project that best aligns with our interests," said the Prime Minister of Armenia during the government hour in parliament.
