A team from the U.S. engineering consulting firm AECOM visited Armenia under the U.S. State Department's Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment Fund to begin work on a survey of the TRIPP site, according to a press release from the U.S. Embassy in Armenia, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.
This project will provide technical assessments and recommendations for rail and other infrastructure development to support Armenia's long-term economic growth, connectivity, and regional integration, the embassy said.
