A pack of wolves attacked residents of a village in Armenia's Syunik region, leaving six people injured, including a two-year-old child.

All of the victims were taken to hospital with injuries of varying severity after the attack, The Caspian Post reports via news.am.

Rescue teams and environmental patrols have been deployed to the area and are searching for the animals in an effort to locate and neutralize the threat, as authorities work to prevent further attacks.
