Azerbaijan and Pakistan Seal Investment Deal at ECO Summit in Khankendi

Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has written that during the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) held in Khankendi, Azerbaijan and Pakistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing bilateral investment cooperation.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the event, The Caspian Post reports via Jabbarov’s message on X.

The MoU, designed to foster increased economic collaboration and investment flows between the two nations, was signed by Jabbarov, and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

Jabbarov highlighted the significance of the agreement, stating, “This document will provide a significant boost to the implementation of directives issued by the leaders of Azerbaijan and Pakistan to further strengthen mutual economic relations and investment partnerships.”
