Azerbaijan’s Economic Council Discusses 2026 Budget and Revenue Strategies

Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Ali Asadov chaired a meeting of the country's Economic Council on Friday.

The agenda included detailed discussions on the revenue structure forming the state and consolidated budgets for 2026 and the medium-term period, primary revenue policy strategies, and other related issues, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.

Reports on budget and tax matters were presented by Minister of Finance Sahil Babayev, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, and Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev.

The meeting featured extensive discussions on these economic topics.

At the conclusion, decisions were adopted, and instructions were issued to relevant bodies to implement the agreed measures.
