The article pays special attention to Azerbaijan’s vital role as one of the key architects of this strategic route, which connects Europe and Asia through the transit zone, The Caspian Post reports citing Azertac.

It emphasizes that, thanks to its favorable geographical location and substantial infrastructure investments, Azerbaijan has become a central hub within the new Eurasian transport network. The Middle Corridor, also known as the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), now offers a profitable alternative to traditional trade routes passing through Russia or the Suez Canal. Cargo delivery times between China and Europe have been reduced to 10-15 days, making the route especially attractive amid global crises and the increasing need to diversify logistics chains.
