An Armenian business delegation will visit Kazakhstan to explore opportunities for deepening bilateral economic cooperation, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced following his official trip to the Central Asian nation.
Pashinyan emphasized that Armenia’s relations with Kazakhstan have developed into a strategic partnership that has already produced concrete, and sometimes unexpected, results, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.
Highlighting the new railway connection with Kazakhstan via Azerbaijan and Georgia, the prime minister noted that this link expands trade and cargo possibilities. The upcoming business delegation will focus on identifying areas where economic collaboration can be strengthened.
Pashinyan noted that political dialogue with Kazakhstan remains at a high level. He also expressed his gratitude to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for awarding him Kazakhstan’s highest honor.
“This is truly a great honor for me and a significant recognition, for which I am deeply grateful,” Pashinyan said.
On November 21, President Tokayev bestowed upon Prime Minister Pashinyan the Order of the Golden Eagle, the highest state award of Kazakhstan, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of Kazakh-Armenian relations.
